ParaNano Wound Care, LLC is a pre-clinical-stage company focused on developing and commercializing bioactive nanofiber membranes to detect infection in wounds. ParaNano Wound Care addresses an enormous gap in the wound care industry: there is no way to continuously monitor wounds for infection in an outpatient setting. ParaNano has solved this problem with our Nanosheet™ Biosensor, a flexible nanofiber membrane that visually changes color when infection is detected all with no wires, batteries, or cumbersome device. The progressive color change is easy to interpret (if it has turned green your wound is infected). Our Nanosheet Biosensor provides continuous wound monitoring between clinician visits, so both a caregiver and the patient of any skill level can detect an infection in any setting.
