2026 Eli Lilly and Company Grand Challenge
The 2026 Grand Challenge will take place at Lilly’s headquarters in Indianapolis, IN on September 22nd and 23rd, 2026. Selected participants will be invited to network with Lilly executives and scientists and compete for $100,000 USD in non-dilutive grant funding. Selected participants will also gain access to Lilly’s extensive scientific and business network to help advance their technologies. The 2026 Grand Challenge will span two major tracks: 1.Mobility & Frailty: Improving muscle, bone, and joint function together—targeting frailty, fall risk, and loss of independence. 2.Cognitive & Sensory Decline: Addressing hearing, vision, and cognitive deterioration as an integrated system, with clear functional endpoints. 3.Immune Resilience: Enhancing immune response in aging populations, including infection recovery and vaccine responsiveness. 4.Regenerative Medicine: Harnessing cellular, tissue, and biologics-based approaches to restore lost function.
