The Prototype Fund is a startup support program at the Texas Tech Innovation Hub that provides early-stage technology companies with funding to develop prototypes and minimum viable products (MVPs) based on customer discovery insights. Applicants who must be 18+ with an established startup can request awards ranging from $5,000 to $25,000 to help bring their innovations closer to commercialization; eligibility also includes participation in a regional NSF I-Corps program and submission of a detailed proposal with milestones and budget.
