Alloy Therapeutics Expands to Japan to Advance Cell Therapy Innovation

Alloy Therapeutics, a biotech company focused on expanding access to cutting-edge drug discovery tools, has opened its first Japan location at Shonan iPark in Kanagawa—one of the world’s leading research hubs.

To lead its new Japanese subsidiary, Alloy Therapeutics Co., Ltd., the company has appointed Victor Stone as CEO.

Building on a partnership with Takeda, Alloy will further develop its iCAR-T cell therapy platform, based on pioneering stem cell research by Nobel Laureate Shinya Yamanaka. The iCAR-T technology shows promise for creating more potent and affordable off-the-shelf cancer therapies.
