Articulate Labs First to be Accepted into Advanced Manufacturing Clearing House
Articulate Labs will be joining The Medical Device Innovation Consortium's (MDIC) Advanced Manufacturing Clearing House Initiative (AMCH). MDIC, with FDA support, is piloting the AMCH program to promote the use of advanced technology across the total product life cycle in the medical device industry. The program's goals are to increase product intelligence, improve product quality, and increase operational effectiveness. Articulate Labs, the first company in the initiative, is using a real-time operating system (RTOS) that integrates patient data into a digital twin - a digital model of a real world physical system - to enhance therapy and diagnostics. While their initial focus is on knee rehabilitation, the adaptable RTOS can be applied to other medical devices. Over six months, Articulate Labs and MDIC will create a case study on the RTOS, sharing insights with the industry while engaging with the FDA throughout the project.Articulate Labs First to be Accepted into Advanced Manufacturing Clearing House
