Baylor Undergraduate Earns National Society of Toxicology Research Award

Baylor University undergraduate biology major and Goldwater Scholar Ava Frescura has been selected to receive a 2026 Undergraduate Research Award from the Society of Toxicology, making her one of only 19 students nationwide and the only one from Texas to earn this honor for her research on plasticizer chemicals. The award will fully support her participation in the Society’s annual meeting, where she will present her work, highlighting both her scientific achievements and Baylor’s strong undergraduate research training and mentorship.
