BMK Pharma received approval from the Allen City Council to move forward with plans for a roughly 50,000-square-foot pharmaceutical manufacturing and research facility near Central Expressway and Exchange Parkway in Allen, Texas. The facility is planned as both a 503B compounding pharmacy and sterile contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO), producing injectable drugs and other sterile dosage forms while incorporating research and development capabilities. The approximately $50 million investment is expected to create more than 100 high-skilled jobs in areas such as pharmacy, chemistry, engineering, automation, and scientific research, further strengthening North Texas’ growing life sciences and pharmaceutical manufacturing sector.
