Carter Bloodcare Encourages Donations for Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Carter BloodCare is calling on all eligible blood and platelet donors to give the gift of life this October in support of breast cancer patients and others in need of lifesaving transfusions.

As Breast Cancer Awareness Month shines a light on early detection, research, and community support, Carter BloodCare reminds donors that their contributions directly impact those undergoing cancer treatment. Breast cancer remains the most commonly diagnosed cancer among women in the U.S., affecting 1 in 8 women and accounting for nearly 30% of all new female cancer cases each year, according to the American Cancer Society.
