The Colossal Foundation and Re expanded the Species Reintroduction Fund to support seven new wildlife recovery projects across four continents, including efforts involving the banteng, black-footed ferret, brown howler monkey, Guam kingfisher, northern quoll, Campbell’s alligator lizard, and sunflower sea star. The Fund provides an annual $250,000 commitment, with individual projects eligible for grants of up to $50,000, along with genetic technologies, training, technical assistance, and access to a global conservation network. The second cohort was selected from nearly $5 million in funding requests and is designed to help conservation organizations restore threatened species, rebuild habitats, and establish long-term conditions for successful reintroduction.
