Cowtown Angels and SWAN Impact Network Partner

TechFW’s Cowtown Angels and the SWAN Impact Network have formed a partnership to unite angel investment networks across Texas. Led by Ryan Brown of TechFW and Heather Gilker of SWAN, the initiative aims to create a more collaborative, efficient environment for both investors and startups.  

Brown states, “The way we have been doing it wasn’t as effective for startups as it could be. Founders were being sent on a ‘fundraising roadshow,’ pitching to each of us separately. We need to come together and simplify their search for funding.”

This collaboration will enable angel groups to share insights and standardize criteria, such as a strong management team, scalability, and exit strategy, making the funding process smoother for founders and investors alike.
