
CPRIT Approve Numerous Grants to Support Cancer Research
The governing body of the Cancer Prevention and Research Institute of Texas (CPRIT) has approved 53 grants to support cancer research across the state. These grants fund a variety of initiatives, including CPRIT Scholar recruitment, collaborative core facilities, and cancer clinical trials. Among today’s awards, the Oversight Committee approved six recruitment grants to attract top cancer researchers to Texas. These experts will lead innovative research projects in areas such as childhood and adolescent cancer, cell biology, and computational oncology.
