DFW Airport Ranked Third Busiest in the World
Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) held its spot as the world’s third-busiest airport for passenger traffic in 2024, welcoming over 87.8 million travelers—a 7.4% increase from 2023 and 17% growth since 2019, according to Airports Council International. DFW saw the highest growth rate among the top three airports globally (Atlanta, Dubai, and DFW). DFW also ranked third in aircraft movements, up 7.8% from 2023. “As we approach 90 million annual passengers, our continued growth highlights the strength of our region, airline partners, and strategic investments,” said Sean Donohue, CEO of DFW.
