Ecolab and CDP Partner on New Benchmarks to Help Companies Improve Operational Water Performance
Ecolab Inc. announced a strategic partnership with global environmental non-profit CDP to launch the Water Use Efficiency Index, a new benchmark designed to help companies measure, compare, and enhance operational water performance across industries. The index, unveiled at the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos, offers sector-specific best-in-class water-use efficiency ranges and targets, beginning with a pilot in the Beverage and Brew segment of the food and agriculture industry. By providing data-driven insights and clear performance benchmarks, the initiative aims to accelerate smarter water management, strengthen resilience, and support sustainable operational improvements for companies facing growing water stress.
