EY and Microsoft Partner to Bring AI to the Next Generation
EY and Microsoft have launched the AI Skills Passport (AISP), a free online program designed to help students aged 16 and older learn about artificial intelligence (AI) technologies and their applications across industries and careers. This initiative is part of an ongoing social impact collaboration aimed at equipping young people and underserved communities with the AI skills needed to succeed in today’s evolving job market. Research from Randstad shows a 2,000% surge in demand for AI skills in job postings. However, a recent EY and TeachAI survey, supported by Microsoft, found that only 15% of Gen Z respondents feel adequately prepared by their schools or employers to navigate AI’s impact and tools. The AISP seeks to bridge this gap by providing essential AI training, with a goal of upskilling one million individuals.
