Fort Worth Recognized as Upcoming Life Science Hub

The city of Fort Worth is the 12-largest and fastest-growing in the U.S., according to the 2023 U.S. Census Bureau data. It is also a low cost and business friendly environment, home to the corporate headquarters of Alcon, GM Financial, and American Airlines.

The population is booming as several major universities are increasing their footprint and creating new programs: Texas A&M University, with its nationally ranked law school, will anchor the first building in the 3.5-acre Texas A&M-Fort Worth campus. They are expected to to spur economic growth through partnerships with companies like Alcon and Lockheed Martin.

Fort Worth's robust and healthy life science ecosystem is full of entrepreneurs and startups spun out of Alcon.  AyuVis, Eosera, and Panthera Biosolutions are several successful examples.
