HKS Announces The Building Brains Coalition

HKS is excited to introduce the Building Brains Coalition, a groundbreaking initiative that bridges the gap between built environment professionals and experts in neuroscience, psychology, climate science, and public health.

This coalition builds on the growing understanding that brain health is essential to unlocking human potential and driving societal progress. It brings together five leading organizations—The Center for BrainHealth, the Center for Advanced Design Research and Evaluation (CADRE), HKS, the Brain Capital Alliance, and Rice University’s Baker Institute Neuro-Policy Program—in a powerful collaboration.

By working together, coalition members will transform the way we design spaces to promote resilience, well-being, and cognitive flourishing.
