HKS Awarded Three 2025 Touchstone Awards

HKS is honored to have received three 2025 Evidence-Based Design Touchstone Awards from the Center for Health Design. Waco Family Medicine, Harris Health Lyndon B. Johnson Hospital, and COVETM by DIRTT each earned Gold awards for their outstanding research and outcome-driven design strategies.

For Waco Family Medicine, HKS designed a 143,000-square-foot facility that significantly expands clinical space at the system’s Providence Drive campus. The design focused on principles that promote patient-centered, affordable healthcare, enhance staff satisfaction, and support education and research. Using evidence-based strategies, the team identified design needs, validated choices, and fostered innovative solutions, ensuring functionality, efficiency, and stakeholder engagement throughout the project.
