Johnson & Johnson Reports Two-Year ICOTYDE Results for Adults and Adolescents With Plaque Psoriasis

Johnson & Johnson announced two-year results from its Phase 3 ICONIC-LEAD study of ICOTYDE (icotrokinra), an oral treatment for adults and adolescents ages 12 and older with moderate-to-severe plaque psoriasis. At 112 weeks, at least 70% of treated patients maintained clear or almost clear skin, while 78% experienced sustained improvement in itching; researchers also reported no new safety concerns. These findings suggest ICOTYDE may offer a long-term oral treatment option for psoriasis, a chronic condition that causes inflamed, scaly, and sometimes painful skin patches.
