Johnson & Johnson Sight For Kids Program Reaches 50 Million Children
Johnson & Johnson, a global leader in eye health, in collaboration with the Lions Clubs International Foundation (LCIF), has announced that the Sight for Kids program has delivered comprehensive eye health services to over 50 million students in underserved and low-income communities across North America, Africa, Asia, and Europe. This year, Sight for Kids will further expand into new regions, including Atlanta, Georgia, and Hong Kong. The program's global impact will be celebrated at the 106th annual Lions International Convention in Melbourne, Australia, from June 21-24. Since 2002, Sight for Kids has empowered communities worldwide to ensure children have clear and healthy vision. The program has conducted free comprehensive eye screenings for entire schools and trained over 200,000 teachers globally to deliver eye health education, perform visual acuity tests, and screen students for common eye conditions. Additionally, the program has facilitated treatments and surgeries for more than 650,000 students by eye care professionals and provided over 515,000 pairs of eyeglasses to students in need.Johnson & Johnson Sight For Kids Program Reaches 50 Million Children
