Construction crews have been hard at work this spring in Tarrant County, simultaneously improving existing facilities within the JPS Health Network while also constructing new ones. These endeavors are part of a larger master facility plan initiated following a 2018 bond election approved by Tarrant County voters, aiming to modernize several JPS facilities and establish a new hospital complex adjacent to the existing location to enhance mental health services. With Phase 1 of the project slated for completion by late 2027 and the entire project expected to conclude in 2029, these efforts mark a significant step forward in improving healthcare infrastructure in the region.
