Texas Woman’s kinesiology students continue to excel in spaceflight challenges, winning the top prize for the fifth time in seven years at a NASA-sponsored design competition. Team Pleiades, the only kinesiology and all-female team among 19 mostly engineering teams, claimed victory at the two-day event on November 14.

Texas Woman’s School of Health Promotion and Kinesiology continues its winning streak, with teams claiming first place four times in the past seven semesters, including last fall. Over 13 semesters of participation, TWU teams have finished in the top four an impressive 11 times.
