Lyda Hill and TAMEST announces Recipients of the 2026 Hill Prizes
The Texas Academy of Medicine, Engineering, Science and Technology (TAMEST) and Lyda Hill Philanthropies announced the winners of the 2026 Hill Prizes—prestigious awards that support high-risk, high-reward research with significant real-world impact potential. This year’s prizes, expanded to seven categories including a new Artificial Intelligence prize, provide each recipient’s institution $500,000 to accelerate groundbreaking work across fields such as AI, biological sciences, engineering, medicine, physical sciences, public health, and technology. Winners will be recognized at the TAMEST 2026 Annual Conference in San Antonio, and the program continues to spotlight Texas as a hub for transformative scientific innovation.
