Lyda Hill | Dallas ISD Launches High-Quality Student Passport Experiences Program with New Field Trip Opportunities

The Dallas Independent School District announced a new curriculum-aligned “Learning Voyages” passport program that will give more than 48,000 K-8 students access to meaningful field trip experiences at institutions such as the Dallas Zoo, Perot Museum, Dallas Arboretum, and Environmental Education Center, made possible through a partnership with Lyda Hill Philanthropies. By removing financial and logistical barriers, the initiative aims to connect classroom lessons with real-world learning, deepen student engagement, and spark curiosity in subjects like STEM as part of a pilot launching in spring 2026 ahead of full implementation during the 2026-27 school year.
