McMillan James Equipment Company Plans Expansion in Grapevine
McMillan James Equipment Company, a Grapevine‑based provider of custom HVAC and plumbing systems, received city approval to expand its facility at 1044 Texan Trail in the Grapevine Station business park to accommodate growth in staff and operations. The expansion will increase the company’s footprint from 22,881 sq ft to 30,897 sq ft, converting some warehouse areas into office space and adding windows, while also modifying the loading dock for parking. As part of the project, McMillan James will add parking spaces to support increased office occupancy, and the city granted a conditional use permit to allow a slight shortfall in required parking. The company has grown its workforce from 98 to 135 employees, prompting the need for additional office and support space.
