Nanoscope Therapeutics and Catalent expanded their strategic partnership to support the late-stage development and potential commercialization of MCO-010, Nanoscope’s lead optogenetic gene therapy designed to restore vision in patients with retinal degenerative diseases. Under the expanded agreement, Catalent will provide commercial-compliant packaging and distribution services and support packaging validation activities needed for Nanoscope’s Biologics License Application (BLA) submission to the FDA. The collaboration strengthens Nanoscope’s pathway toward commercialization by combining its vision-restoration technology with Catalent’s manufacturing and supply-chain expertise.
