NexPoint to Begin Construction on Texas Research Quarter

Months after Plano approved a $4 billion life sciences project in the Legacy corridor, NexPoint is set to begin construction on the Texas Research Quarter. The development, located in the former Ross Perot EDS headquarters near Legacy West, was approved in August, with the city agreeing to reimburse up to $15 million. Once completed, the 91-acre biomedical campus is projected to create up to 1,000 jobs and boost North Texas's life sciences ecosystem. Phase one construction is expected to begin during the first quarter of 2025.
