Novartis to Invest in U.S. Manufacturing and R&D Expansion
Novartis will invest in expanding its U.S. manufacturing and R&D sites, with plans to produce all key medicines domestically. The initiative includes 10 facilities and seven new sites. They are expected to create nearly 1,000 Novartis jobs and 4,000 additional roles nationwide. Highlights include a research hub in San Diego and multiple new manufacturing sites for biologics, chemical drug substances, and a radioligand therapy manufacturing site in Texas.
