Secretome Therapeutics Secures $30 Million Series A to Advance STM-01 for Duchenne-Associated Cardiomyopathy
Secretome Therapeutics announced the closing of a $30 million Series A financing led exclusively by RA Capital Management to support development of its neonatal cardiac progenitor cell (nCPC) platform and lead therapy, STM-01. The funding will help advance STM-01 toward pivotal Phase 2 and Phase 3 clinical development for Duchenne muscular dystrophy-associated cardiomyopathy, an area with limited disease-modifying treatment options. The financing also brings veteran biotech executive David Lubner to the company’s board as Secretome accelerates efforts to develop a potentially transformative therapy for patients with Duchenne-related heart disease.
