Tarleton State University Unveils New Research and Economic Development Building

Tarleton State University celebrated the grand opening of its new Research and Economic Development Building

Tarleton State University has unveiled its new Research and Economic Development Building, shared with Texas A&M AgriLife Research and Extension Service. This facility will support research and regional collaboration, housing Tarleton's Institute for Rural Economic Development and its Small Business Development Center. 

Dr. James Hurley, Tarleton State President, highlighted the building's role in advancing research as the university celebrates its 125th anniversary. The project follows a record $20 million in research expenditures and a boost in HERD rankings.
