TCC Students Explore Health Careers Through Summer Academy
This summer, 24 Tarrant County College students took part in the Summer Academy of Health Science (SAHS)—a five-week program offered in partnership with UNT Health Science Center at Fort Worth. Now in its third year, SAHS gives students hands-on exposure to health care and public health careers, from clinical practice to research, teaching, and leadership. The program continues to grow each year, reaching full capacity this summer with a waitlist of more than 20 students eager to join. SAHS is helping prepare the next generation of health professionals while fueling interest in careers that shape the future of care and discovery.
