The Anne Burnett Marion School of Medicine at Texas Christian University is introducing a video series called How I Literally Survived Medical School. The series features medical students who have faced chronic illnesses and near-death experiences while continuing their education and training to become physicians. Students also share how TCU faculty and staff supported them through difficult health challenges, highlighting the importance of compassion and support in medical education.
