Texas Research Quarter Receives Green Light from City of Plano

The Plano City Council has approved a development agreement for the Texas Research Quarter (TRQ), setting the stage for a major life science innovation hub in Plano, Texas. The agreement supports redevelopment of the former EDS headquarters site and includes incentives through a new tax increment reinvestment zone (TIRZ).

The project will initially create over three million square feet of life science facilities, with future expansions planned for the district. Eric Danielson of NexPoint highlighted the project's potential to drive innovation and enhance patient care.
