Texas Tops U.S. in Job Growth, Sets Employment Records
Governor Greg Abbott celebrated Texas’s leadership in job creation over the past year, following the release of June employment data. Texas set new records for both the number of Texans working and the size of its labor force. “More Texans are working than ever as Texas leads all states in annual job creation,” said Governor Abbott. “Texas’s business-friendly climate attracts innovative entrepreneurs and industry leaders. With a skilled workforce and strategic investments in education, workforce development, and infrastructure, we are building the greatest economy in the nation.”
