The Launch of the Colossal Foundation
Colossal Biosciences, the first de-extinction company, has launched The Colossal Foundation, a 501(c)(3) focused on applying its cutting-edge science and technology to conservation efforts. The foundation will support partner-led projects where these innovations can transform wildlife conservation and ecosystem restoration. Over the next decade, the foundation will collaborate with local communities to select species and deploy technologies like genetic rescue, biobanking, A.I., and computational biology for species conservation and adaptation.
