TTU Engineering Students Develop Thrust Stand for Rocket Research

Undergraduate students at Texas Tech University's Edward E. Whitacre Jr. College of Engineering have developed a thrust stand as part of their capstone project, showcasing the institution's commitment to innovation and hands-on learning. With support from grants by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) and the U.S. Department of Defense (DOD), these students have created a valuable research tool that collects thrust and pressure data from rocket fuel, benefiting ongoing research in rocket propulsion and combustion science at the university's Combustion Lab.
