UNT Dallas Marks Major Milestone with Ribbon-Cutting for New STEM Building

The University of North Texas at Dallas held a ribbon-cutting ceremony on December 2, 2025, to dedicate its new $100 million state-of-the-art STEM Building, which will open for classes in the Spring 2026 semester. The four-story facility was completed on time and under budget and includes numerous classrooms, teaching and research labs, collaborative spaces, and support for pre-health and STEM academic programs. University leaders and dignitaries emphasized that the new building expands educational pathways, helps address regional healthcare workforce needs, and strengthens opportunity for students in North Texas.
