UNTHSC Celebrates Grand Opening of New College of Nursing

The University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth celebrated the grand opening of its new College of Nursing with a ceremonial lamp lighting event for special guests on Thursday.

HSC President Sylvia Trent-Adams, Provost Charles Taylor, and founding dean Cindy Weston delivered remarks, followed by a lamp lighting ceremony where attendees lit their Nightingale lamps, symbolizing the path to the newly renovated College of Nursing wing. Guests toured the wing and HSC’s Regional Simulation Center, where nursing students will complete clinical training.
