UT Arlington Professor to Test Aerospace Materials
Professor Endel Iarve, Director of the Institute for Predictive Performance Methodologies, UT Arlington University of Texas at Arlington mechanical and aerospace engineering professor Endel Iarve has secured a contract from the Air Force Research Laboratory to conduct virtual testing of composite materials used in aerospace systems. His research leverages advanced computer models to predict material performance under real-world conditions, enhancing aircraft durability and safety. Dr. Iarve is collaborating with researchers from the Michigan Institute of Technology, the University of Utah, Columbia University, and Lockheed Martin Aeronautics.
