UT Dallas Design Teams Rank First and Second Place in National Competition
UTDesign Capstone teams from the University of Texas at Dallas continue to excel nationally, securing first- and second-place honors at the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Student Manufacturing Design Competition and a second-place finish at the Capstone Design Conference. One Senior Design team won first place for creating an automated assembly device, while another team placed second for designing a semiautomated machine for feeding wires through a long conduit.
