UT Dallas Launches New AI Master’s Program for Biomedical Sciences

To meet growing workforce demands in data-driven health and medical sectors, The University of Texas at Dallas has introduced a new Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence for Biomedical Sciences, along with a related certificate program.

Approved in April by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board, the program will launch this fall through the School of Natural Sciences and Mathematics (NSM).

While AI graduate programs exist across Texas, UT Dallas is among the first to offer a specialized focus on biomedical applications—preparing students to lead innovation at the intersection of technology and healthcare.
