UT Dallas Scientist Awarded Howard Hughes Medical Institute Fellowship
From Kenya in East Africa to Keller, just outside Fort Worth, Juliet Mwirigi BS’18, PhD’23 discovered her passion for science as a student at The University of Texas at Dallas. Now, just a year after earning her doctorate in cognition and neuroscience from the School of Behavioral and Brain Sciences, Mwirigi, a specialist in pain studies, has been awarded the prestigious Hanna H. Gray Fellowship by the Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI).
