UT Southwestern’s Dr. Joseph A. Hill, Director of the Harry S. Moss Heart Center, received the American Heart Association’s Gold Heart Award, the organization's highest volunteer honor, recognizing decades of leadership in cardiovascular medicine and research. The award highlights his service as editor-in-chief of Circulation, the AHA’s flagship scientific journal, where he helped more than double the journal’s impact factor during his 10-year tenure.
