Keith Argenbright, director of UT Southwestern’s Moncrief Cancer Institute, received the 2026 Texans Conquer Cancer Award in Population Health from the Cancer Prevention and Research Institute of Texas (CPRIT). His work has helped expand cancer screening and prevention services to underserved communities across more than 100 rural and medically underserved Texas counties, reaching approximately 30,000 uninsured and underinsured Texans annually. Since 2010, Argenbright and UT Southwestern have received 17 CPRIT prevention grants totaling $32 million, helping detect thousands of cancers and precancerous conditions.
