UTA Commends Thirteen Students for Outstanding Contributions to Biology
Thirteen undergraduate and graduate students at The University of Texas at Arlington are being recognized for their outstanding achievements in academics, research, mentoring, and teaching through a series of awards. These accolades encompass both direct submissions from students and nominations put forward by faculty advisors. Following this, a committee comprised of biology faculty members diligently evaluated and voted on the competitive awards. Expressing her enthusiasm, Melissa Walsh, who led the selection committee, shared, "It's incredibly fulfilling to acknowledge the potential of the next generation of biologists.
