The University of Texas at Arlington is researching an artificial intelligence method to reduce radiation exposure during cardiac CT angiography without compromising diagnostic accuracy. Led by physics professor Mingwu Jin, the project will combine deep learning with advanced image reconstruction techniques to improve heart imaging and help doctors detect coronary artery disease.
