UTARI Research Program Helps Propel UTA Engineering Student Toward Career Success
Connor Berberek, a mechanical engineering major at The University of Texas at Arlington, is set to graduate this Friday at the College of Engineering’s 7 p.m. commencement at Globe Life Field. His journey through UTA was shaped not only by rigorous academics but also by hands-on experience through the UT Arlington Research Institute (UTARI) Research Assistant Program. This spring, Berberek worked with UTARI researchers in Fort Worth to fabricate and test composite materials—blending substances to create stronger, more resilient materials. The experience deepened his classroom learning and confirmed his passion for a career in mechanical engineering.
