UTSW Pharmacology Professors Earn TAMEST Hill Prize
David Mangelsdorf, Ph.D., Chair and Professor of Pharmacology and Professor of Biochemistry at UT Southwestern Medical Center, has received the Hill Prize in Biological Sciences from the Texas Academy of Medicine, Engineering, Science, and Technology (TAMEST). This prestigious award honors his groundbreaking research on orphan nuclear receptors—proteins within the cell nucleus that regulate gene activity and are activated by unidentified molecules.
