UTSW to Bring City's First MRI-guided Precision Radiation Treatment to Medical District
UT Southwestern Medical Center is expanding cancer services in Fort Worth with a new two-story Radiation Oncology campus, set to feature the city’s first MRI-guided precision radiation treatment. Approved by the UT System Board of Regents, the $177 million facility will begin construction in summer 2025 and is expected to open in 2028. The project aims to meet the growing demand for advanced cancer care in Tarrant County, driven by Fort Worth’s rapid population growth as the 12th-largest U.S. city.
